About

Heath's music background is from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. It was there that he received his master's degree in Music Performance while studying under Julian Gray. Heath's solo album, “Five Centuries of the Guitar" is available at CDBaby. 

Teaching

Heath teaches all styles of guitar, all levels, and all ages. His students are a diverse bunch: from elementary school students to professional airline pilots.

Many of Heath's students have continued guitar as singer songwriters, members of rock bands, college music majors, or continue for personal enjoyment.

PERFORMANCE

Heath Hitchcock Guitar music can provide the elegant background you need for your event. Weddings, cocktails, corporate, or any ambiance needing a superb Spanish and Latin American Classical Guitar background. Traditional to Modern, Heath's repertoire ranges from the Lute Music of Sylvius Weiss to the Modern Guitar dances emerging from South America. 

Heath has performed at various venues both as a soloist, and duet with Jorge Torres. He was a lead guitarist for the Pennsylvania Guitar quintet from 2003 to 2016. Heath previously performed widely in the Baltimore area as part of the flute and guitar duets, Calliope and Windwood duo.
